School is about to start once again and we need to implement a plan of action. I propose that we move August's protest from Indianapolis to Terre Haute to inform parents with children in VCSC schools the intent of this program. VCSC starts school on Aug. 18, so hosting this protest later in the month would be most effective. I'll leave it up to everyone else to pick the protest dates for this month. Weekends work best for me. Like this idea yes/no?

I'm all for it! In fact, Mr. VaVey and I were discussing the possibility of getting permission from the administration of Indiana State University (in Terre Haute) to host a protest in their central plaza during the school year. The fountain would make a nice setting, and is located in front of a busy food court, and is visible from most of the dorm buildings on campus.

We could definitely try to organize a protest at the VCSC administration building. If I remember correctly, there is a city-owned parking garage right across the street, and has a nice area in front of it that would also make a nice setting, on a busy street.

Also, if a turn-out in Terre Houte is successful, I'd like to have a protest across the street from the dental office of Dr. Smudde, the most prominent Scientologist in Terre Haute, whose wife brought the YHRI program to VCSC, and works part-time at the Indianapolis Org. His office is located on a busy street, meaning that much of Terre Haute would hear our message, and maybe, just maybe, run his business out.

As for a location, I shall let you decide. I'm guessing you are far more familiar with Terre Haute than I. Also, would promoting this raid on the ISU and RHIT campuses be worth our time? I don't know much about ISU, but RHIT's a serious nerd school and will probably provide good backup (also some Frosh classes have started).

ISU is a very... diverse school, so there might be risk of stepping on some toes if there are any Scilons in attendance (although I don't know of any), but LaVey has contacts there that would join us, most likely. As for RHIT, I don't know... Hadn't considered it.

Unless I suck cocks, ISU does not publish the religious breakdown of attending students. But anyways, does it matter if we piss off a few scifag kids? I'm sure Smudde's not going to be too happy when we show up to protest in front of his office, but that's not going to stop me. Also, I'm going to e-mail this thread to all the members on this board for backup. The bigger the better ^_^

True, true, and true. But Im also not sure how open ISU would be to the use of "religious propaganda" on campus, especially while masked. And about Smudde, that's the plan! When I get the chance, Ill look into the areas around Smudde's office and the VCSC building to make sure we have a safe and sufficient place to host a protest.

Awesome. I'll try to recruit some people to come from down here. Also, do we have to have a permit to protest in Vigo County? Not being arrested would be nice. :D

I'll contact the Terre Haute Police Dept about it. I know that in Indy, you dont need a permit unless you plan on completely blocking off the road and/or sidewalk. Not sure about Terre Haute or Vigo County though.

Thanks. I was just wondering since a permit is required in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties. No fun for us anons down here (not like we have anything to protest, lol)

Could I get a ride to a raid outside of Evansville?

I'll see what can be done. Not sure about the Terre Haute raid quite yet. I also know that a group of E-villefags planning to go down to Nashville in a future month. ^_^

Nashville, Indiana (Brown County), or THE Nashville?

The Nashville. It's much closer for us Evansvillefags than anything else.
